I have high prescription, and I don’t want to spend a lot because I’m planning to have Lasik surgery in the next 18-24 months. My current eyeglasses aren’t comfortable (one of the nosepads came off, and I got a new pair of nosepads but they don’t feel comfortable). Plus, the lenses are scratched and they’re not in a great shape overall. I live in Orange County, CA by the way. Thanks.
Go to a wholesale club that has a eye wear place in it or visit Sam’s club, or walmart. You DO NOT have to be a member of the wholesale club to visit and buy from their optical shop! As required by law they have to be open to the PUBLIC (meaning nonmembers as well as members).
Before my lasiks I went to Sam’s club (owned by Walmart) and bought glasses there. I paid the same price Sams club members pay except I am not a member. They know the law they let me right in when I said i was there to visit the optical shop.

I bought eyeglasses there for 9.00 since I haven’t insurance.
They work great.
costco for sure!
Walmart – $5.00 reading glasses work well for most people but you should know the strength you need – 125, 150, 200, etc.
Costco or sams club are very good..walmart has good glasses but horrible service
Walmart
Kmart
Lenscrafter
If you need glasses to read then you can buy magnifiers anywhere. Pharmacy, Department Store.
Around here they are sold at WalMart, Ocean State Job Lot, Christmas Tree Shop, WalGreens, CVS, Brooks
Go to one of the mall optical places, like Lenscrafters or DOC. They are always having sales.
Try Dr. Edel glasses in Walgreens Drugs. About $10.00.
Americas Best Eyeglasses. They always have a really great sale.
i am not really sure because my glasses are covered with my insurance
Have you tried CVS Pharmacey or Walgreens?
walmart, or any other store that sale them for a good price. all you need is the frame right.
Wal-Mart. Sears, do you have For Eyes out there??
Believe it or not they sell some at Dollar Tree. They are sold on groups. If someone has terrible sight they will choose “this”. Someone bad vision another and so on.
Here’s a link to the site Norton mentioned:http://www.zennioptical.com/cart/home.ph…
That sounds like a great place. I am going to order some from there.
