i had lasik done over a year and a half ago. they told me that the “flaps” are where they lift the tissue around ur eye to correct ur lence. then in about 1-11/2 weeks it heals. u have to be very careful not to rub ur eyes or get dirt in them (no makeup) so that the flaps heal right and don’t get any creases in them

I had my Lasik surgery 7 years ago. The flaps do heal but it takes up to a year for them to completely heal. You do have to be careful not to rub your eyes or get anything in them for the first few months after surgery.
