Hello, I had LASIK done. It only took me 4-5 hours to see. I went from 20/300 to 20/13. My eyes were very irritated for the first hour or so, so being able to effectively see was not possible. After four hours of medicated rest I was able see fine, with minor irritation. Seeing "halos" around lights for the first two weeks to a month was normal. If your friend is still having blurry vision after 5 days, then I would strongly suggest that they seek out the surgeon to schedule an eye exam. Its possible that your friend rubbed the lens free after the surgery and or there is a wrinkle in the lens following the surgery.

The doctors may have messed up or she does not recover well. My friends and I have recovered within 1 week but can see very well after 24 hours.

Had mine done at 4PM went home and to bed. Next morning at the doctors office at 7AM and to work at 8AM. Had a halo effect driving at night for about a week. My eyes continued to improve for weeks afterwards. The greatest thing in the world.
