I am having Lasik next month, I have the option to purchase a lifetime insurane in case I need any additional surgery. I have really bad eyesight, so it is possible, although, slim, that I will need another procedure.
So, the problem is that I think I should get, but my husband thinks its a scam. He had his eyes done, got the insurance and has never needed a thing ( his were done 2 years ago, and if you don’t need adjusting within the first year, I guess you never do).
Looking for opinions.

I think that if they were to cover it, the insurance company in some way would be saving money. I’ve been told that the surgery helps you stay with good vision for years. In that way, for years you wouldn’t be using your insurance to get glasses or contacts.
