I am scheduled to have Prk or Lasik on Aug 18, 2008 and I leave For basic training for the military on the 1st of September. I’m wondering if I can recover enough to deal with it through BCT and AIT.

If you have any problem what so ever during basic training–you’ll be held back–to “recover”. But in this case, it can’t be undone, and they will just discharge you–home, that is.
