Affordable for whom? Most institutes will be pretty competetive if they have the same technology. The reason Lasik costs so much is because the laser companies charge for each time the laser is run. Then you have the cost of paying the surgeon and employees, and supplies (which arent cheap).
I would recommend going to someone that is competitive and has updated techonology with a knowledgable staff. If they make you feel uncomfortable then don’t get treated there. Plain and simple. The worst thing you can do is go somewhere cheap. All that means is that they have outdated technology and probably an inexperienced staff. Shop around a bit, most consultations are free. Find the right place for you.
