I Was Wondering If Lasik Eye Surgery Can Make An 80 Year-old Person Have His Vision From When He Was 15?

I mean chuck away the glasses forever + 20/20?

Eventually everyone develops presbyopia, which means that the lens of your eye is less flexible and therefore cannot focus at both near and far distances, without help.
Usually presbyopia develops around age 40 or later, and people compensate for it by wearing bifocals.
LASIK can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and/or astigmatism. In that respect, LASIK may be able to give an 80-year-old the near or distance vision he/she had when much younger.
However, LASIK does not solve the problem of presbyopia. So, in theory an 80-year-old might have LASIK to eliminate the need for distance glasses, but they would still need reading glasses for up-close activities.
Another factor to consider is that by age 80, many people have developed cataracts. Today there are new artificial lenses, used in cataract surgery, that can enable both near and distance vision. So essentially, the problems of cataracts and presbyopia are solved simultaneously.
