Whats The Market For Lasik In The World?

There is quite a market for LASIK surgery. Where I live,it’s huge! The only problem is,the cost. It isn’t exactly cheap, nor is it heavily relied upon due to it’s high cost when there are other more cheaper ways to get treatment readily availabe. I lucked out,I only wore glasses for a month, and my vision corrected itself,so I didn’t need to hassle with glasses, contacts or anything else. It’s been that way for me for quite some time now. It’s a hard market to play because the costs of setting up shop alone and being in a prime location will bleed you dry. I consider a business venture in LASIK a gamble. But in the form of a treatment, though not necessary,it is the safest, quickest, most painless way possible to restore eyesight,or repair astigmatism.

After I Have A Lasik Surgery My Eyes Got A Floater On My View How To Cure Its?

Depending on how long ago you had the surgery, it may be attributed to the surgery. Therefore, if you have noticed it for quite some time (i.e. several months and it’s a nuisance) I would see your doctor. Also, if it is just one floater I would not be too concerned by it. Typically, the only way to get rid of floaters is surgery. I have them, and they are completely normal in most cases and are not present in your field of vision all of the time. You may notice it becomes less frequent if you let time run it’s course and allow your eye to completely recover from the surgery and heal.

How Much Does Lasik Cost At Those Lasikplus Places?

So Can One Become A Pilot After Having Lasik Done?

You may not need it. Many countries allow pilots to wear glasses or contacts to correct their vision. Lasik has risks, so don’t do it unless you are sure you need it and are willing to take those risks.

Have You Had A Bad Experience With Lasik?

Nope. It’s the best decision I ever made. I wore glasses since the age of 4, and contacts from 13-28. Then I had Lasik, and it’s a miracle!!
Just remember that you get what you pay for. No 2 for 1’s or coupons! Go to a good ophthalmologist who has performed at least 200 Lasiks. You can yak with his patients in the waiting room. You want the best guy (or lady) in your town. Make sure they don’t rush you.
Bless you and good luck! :)

Would I Be Able To Get Lasik Laser Eye Surgery If I Have Type 1 Diabetes And What Are The After Effects?

Diabetes is a relative contra-indication to LASIK. Your LASIK eligibility depends on your refractive error (near or farsightendness) and astigmatism, your cornea (toporgaphy, thickness, etc) and whether you have any existing diabetic retinopathy. I think refractive surgeons are more willing to do people with DM now than in the past, but I recommend if you are interested, have an evaluation from the person in your area who has the most LASIK experience. These docs are easy to find on the American Academy of Ophthalmology(aao.org) or American Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery (ASCRS.org) websites. You have to weigh the reasons for wanting to be out of your glasses or contacts against the cost, the permanent surgical manipulation of your cornea, and the fact that, unfortunately, many type I diabetics develop significant retinopathy.
