I have 20/15 vision in my left eye however I had about 20/25 in my right.So 6 days ago I got the surgery (on my right eye) and It seemed to go well with minor symptoms like stinging and being light sensitive.I don’t need my sun glasses any more but I’ve noticed my vision is about a notch worse.I know this takes time to heal but is this normal?

I had Lasik 10 months ago. I suffered from dry eyes the moment I got the surgery I had to put Systane in my eyes 10 times a day. However suddenly I have started to have an increase in dry eyes! I saw the doctor and he took Systane away and gave me new drops “Optive”, “Restasis”, and Refresh PM. Couple of days have gone by but I am still suffering. Do you guys recommend tear duct plugs?
Its my last option.

Don’t do it, don’t do it! Everyone I know who has had it done is sorry. Some are REALLY sorry. Also, it does not last for a long time and you will more than likely have to repeat it. There is a new method available now that reforms your eyes by wearing contact lenses while you are sleeping. You do not wear lenses or glasses during the daytime and can see without them. This sounds like a safer idea. I know a few people who have done this and they love it! Good Luck!
